Hey! I’m Anna Hoffman for my blog Behind the Screen 🙂 I am a graphic design student at Colorado Mountain College at the Spring Valley Campus.
I’ll share a little bit about my background. I was born in Oregon but I’ve grown up in Colorado. I spent most of my childhood in Northern Colorado. As far as my education goes it has been a bit nontraditional. I was home schooled until middle school and I took some classes through my local middle school and high school. My family and I moved to the mountains in the middle of my sophomore year of high school. My family lives in the Breckenridge area and we have been for about 2 years.
As far as my design background goes, I’ve always been very artistic. I’ve always loved drawing, writing, singing, dancing, playing instruments, designing, acting or whatever else I could get my hands on. Ever since a very young age, I have been playing with computer programs. I would spend hours and hours trying to navigate my way through the programs and it laid the foundation for my design skills. I haven’t exactly found my “niche” in design yet but I’m trying to keep an open mind to it. For now, I am just learning the fundamentals of design and the programs.  This blog is all about the insider look on the graphic design program at Colorado Mountain College. I will be featuring interviews with other graphic design students and teachers. I’ll also be posting useful resources for design! Well, I guess that’s all for now. Enjoy 🙂
